CHCA Seniors Sign with Athletic Scholarships

Four Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy seniors participated in National Signing Day, signing letters of intent to commit to playing at D1 schools next year. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, February 1, at CHCA’s Martha S. Lindner Upper School.

Adam Baker of Maineville signed with Butler University located in Indianapolis, IN on a football scholarship. Baker was a three year starter for the football team. For his career with the Eagles, he has been named as a First Team All-League Player and Honorable Mention All-District Player. He has helped his teams win three straight MVC Titles and also has excelled as an All MVC and First Team All-District track athlete.

Morgan Bradley of Morrow signed with Austin Peay State University located in Clarksville, TN on a Track and Field scholarship. Before retiring as a level 10 gymnast, Bradley held multiple state gymnastics titles. She currently holds the CHCA high jump record at 5 foot 3 inches, qualified for the state meet as a sophomore in the high jump, and is currently ranked 10th in the state for pole vault.

Kesean Gamble of Fairfield signed with Kent State located in Kent, OH, on a football scholarship. Gamble has been a major piece to the CHCA football puzzle. As a senior he helped lead the Eagles to a 12-1 record, while piling up numerous awards. He has been named MVC Offensive Player of the Year, District Player of the Year, and First Team All-State. Gamble is also up for the Tri-State Offensive Player of the Year Award.

Nick Noyen of West Chester signed with the Air Force Academy, on a football scholarship. Noyen says being in the Air Force has been his dream since elementary school. He worked very hard at keeping his grades up and worked hard at football to make this dream come true. Noyen is a member of the National Honor Society and holds a 4.20 Cumulative GPA and High Honors for six semesters. He was Miami Valley Conference “All Academic” Selection for three years consecutively in two sports. Noyen serves as a peer counselor and school ambassador and to date has completed over 120 hours of community service and two mission trips. In addition to numerous athletic awards, he is also a 2017 National Football Foundation Finalist for “That’s My Boy” Award.

Noyen’s family shares, "As parents, we are so proud of Nicholas' accomplishments on the football field and in the classroom. Along with his offer to play football at the Air Force Academy, comes an obligation to serve his Country as an officer, which is a tremendous honor. We are very excited for what his future holds and we know that the teachers and students at CHCA have prepared him for this next phase of his life. The Noyen family has been extremely blessed to have been a part of the CHCA community.”

CHCA Director of Athletics, Matt Coleman, says, “What an honor and privilege to be a part of this special day for a wonderful group of student-athletes and their parents. They have had a front row seat to see something special and the great news is that the best is yet to come for these student-athletes. They have completed one goal and are starting another. We know that they will represent CHCA well and accomplish great things in life due to the great support system that has been built around them at CHCA. What a great moment that they will never forget. It truly is a Great Day to be a CHCA Eagle!”
